Aurele Gould is an image maker and aspiring Art Director based in Richmond, VA with a BFA in Photography + Film from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Gould’s numerous group exhibitions recently include Emerge at Bond Millen Gallery (2025), Serenity Now at Ours (2025), and Back Through the Open Window at The Anderson Gallery (2025). Their exhibitions have been written about in Washington City Paper (2020) and The Commonwealth Times (2017). Gould was a 2021 Resident at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. They have been honored with the VMFA Professional Fellowship Award (2020-21) and the Distinguished Photographer Award from Alex Klein of the ICA Philadelphia (2018). Gould has been published in Fifth Wheel Press’ (FWP) group zine That Way Zine Volume 1 (2021), and in a solo monozine GLARE (FWP 2023).
